Gardener’s Seed Exchange and Winter Faire

February 12 from 10-2pm

Carnation Tree Farm Barn (31523 NE 40th St. Carnation, WA) 

Trellis members please join us at this event! All gardeners, experienced or not, are welcome to come and donate/exchange/or receive seeds. If you would like more information, or to volunteer at the event or with planning, please visit the Transition Snoqualmie Valley web site for more information:

The primary purpose of the event is to support local biodiversity and
food security by promoting local gardening.

Individuals will donate open pollinated (non-hybrid) and untreated
seed to exchange with other local gardeners. Please come with or without seeds!

Seed Saving with Mary Crane
Farmers, organic agriculture experts, Seed Balls, Making Compost, Seed Viability, Germination, Music, Food

.    Swapped seeds are FREE
.    They are likely to be well-suited to local growing conditions
.    They often come with first-hand advice on how to grow them
.    Seed swapping helps protect plant biodiversity
.    Great place to meet local people with a shared interest in growing
food and protecting the environment
.    Can become an exchange for all sorts of useful local knowledge, as
well as seeds.
