Growing Groceries 2019–2020 series of classes

Another season of Growing Groceries starts on October 9th at the Grange in Issaquah. (And another series in Seattle on Beacon Hill this year.) The classes occur about every 3 weeks over the fall, winter, and spring. Although we've designed the series for beginning and intermediate gardeners, I learned something new at each class last year. Thank you Tacy & Peter for sharing your beautiful garden and property with us on this fortunately not rainy Sept. morning! There are many benefits to a smaller garden, which I am constantly reminded of as I try to keep up with my not-so-small garden. Not that Tacy & Peter's is especially small, plenty big for abundant harvests when nature cooperates. This was a challenging year for summer gardening, especially tomatoes.See More

SEED EXCHANGE FEB. 6 2016

It is again time for the Seed Exchange! February 6, 2016

This year it will be at Cedarcrest High School in Duvall. A bit more of a trek than last year, but the commons room is GIANT so we won't be packed in like bean seeds in a tiny packet!
