The 5th Annual Snoqualmie Valley Seed Exchange is this coming
Saturday, February 7th. We look forward to seeing everyone from 11am-3pm
at the Masonic Hall in Fall City.

How to be ready for the seed exchange:

Bring small ENVELOPES & pens to take free seeds home with you. We will have some scrap paper available for fold-your-own envelopes. This year we have a good supply of donated seeds so there will be plenty of seeds for all.
Bring some CASH! We'll have simple lunch fare available for small donations, and local and regional small-scale seed farmers will have seed for sale. Donations to the seed exchange are also much appreciated.
Bring SEEDS to share if you have some (but it isn't required!). Check out our website for more information on saving seeds. It is useful to know what variety your seeds are and the year they were collected.
Bring your QUESTIONS. A number of experienced gardeners and seed growers will be on hand and would be happy to answer questions or point you in the direction of good resources.

This is an all-volunteer event and we still need a few extra hands to make it run smoothly. Some key areas we need help are:
Kitchen help - cooking, cleaning, stocking lunch area, tidying up as needed (shifts all day long)
Clean up - many hands make light work! (starting at 2pm)
Photographer - capture some great shots that we can use for future promotions and grant reporting (any time during the event)
Seed Stewards - experienced growers to answer questions and encourage new growers (1+ hour shifts, all day) TRELLIS MEMBERS WOULD BE WONDERFUL AT THIS!

Volunteer benefits:

Early entry to the event (10am) to start swapping before the general public
Raffle tickets for a volunteer only drawing, with prizes including
gardening books and more.
