Bellevue Demonstration Garden

Hello everyone,

Following up on last Saturday's meeting and the comments re: the Bellevue Demonstration Garden. Click on the link for detailed information about the garden, where it's located, directions, hours and other details.

Just over 1 acre in size, it's crammed with umpteen raised beds, wall gardens and the like, each demonstrating a different aspect of gardening. A large portion of the garden is dedicated to fruit, vegetable and herb gardening so there's lots for our Trellis group to see and learn.

The garden is open dawn to dusk daily, but the master gardeners are there Wednesdays and Saturdays: 9:00am - 1:00pm managing/caring for the garden and to answer questions, provide tours, talk to you if you have a specific interest in a particular area of the garden (growing corn, lettuces, shade gardening, herb gardening, fruit tree management etc).

I'll be there this coming Saturday (August 27th) managing the clinic so if you're able to swing by, I'll happily give you a tour and introduce you to the master gardeners working that day.

Larry and Ruth Ann came by last Saturday. Hope you had an enjoyable, informative visit!

I'll be managing the clinic again on September 10th and September 24th if anyone else would like to swing by for a personalized tour. Happy to show you around.

The garden is open daily from dawn to dusk and Master Gardeners are there Wednesdays/Saturdays from 9:00am - 1:00pm April - October, so feel free to swing by whenever it's convienent for you.
