Thanks, Colin. I have read that Yukon gold potatoes don't repond to mounding, but maybe so.
I'm mounding kinnebec, red norland and german butterball, along with some volunteer red varieties (and miscellaneous varieties from last year's crop). I'll see how well each does by the end of the year.
