At a recent meeting I was at for the City of Issaquah I found out that Seattle Tilth, who now runs the vegetable and some native plant garden at Pickering Barn has a free Garden Hotline. You can call and ask about plants, water quality, pests, soil quality, and such. There is no cost! When I called she was quite helpful.
