On the one hand, this makes tunnel tents and my greenhouse more interesting for tomatoes.

On the other hand, what happens to a few generations of plants no longer exposed to daily doses of viruses and bacteria?  I'm betting their resistance to infection declines as it receives fewer challenges.

I'd want to make sure my seeds come from plants grown exposed to the rain and dustfall.
