Trellis Community Vegetable Gardening Forum

Sharing our knowledge of vegetable gardening in the Snoqualmie Valley area

Friends on Lake Alice Rd have alpaca and thus a daily supply of alpaca poo. Please contact  Linda Lasure by email (lasure@comcast.net) or cell phone (206-498-7734) if you're interested in getting some alpaca beans. It is good to know ahead of time...can save having to go down to the PILES and dig!
AND - Linda had put up temporary fencing in part of the pasture, and we decided to have it replaced this summer with the real thing.  The fence folks took down the temporary and rolled it up... it contains both "bird netting" and "deer fence" - 1" square mesh, heavy plastic.  The deer fence is 7 ft in height.  There were two untidy rolls of the old fence... I have unraveled one and saved the deer fencing.  And don't have the patience to tackle the other!  If someone would like to pick up the whole rolled up thing and untangle it, they could salvage the deer fence.  I'd guess 50-100 ft... but that might not be accurate.   Contact Ruth Pickering  ruthpick@juno.com  or  fallcityhistorical@juno.com if you can use it.
